I’ve been brewing beer for over 50 years, and I’ve created more recipes than I can count. But when Amy came to me with her idea for Daughter, I knew she was onto something. 

She wanted a beer that was crisp, clean, and modern. Made with real fruit, low carbs, no sugar, nothing artificial. It was a way to expand who beer could reach.

Together, we created Daughter: a beer that respects tradition while applying a new lens. And I’m proud to say it’s one of the most exciting beers I’ve ever worked on. Cheers to Daughter. And daughter-in-laws.

Despite trying many, many beers over the past 20 years, I had never found one I truly loved. Yes, there were countless options. Innovative, creative beers created by incredible brewers. But I hadn't found one that resonated with me.

And yet, I’d always admired the moments beer belongs to. The ease, the refreshment, the ritual. But the beer itself? I hadn't found what I wanted. I wanted something cleaner, lighter, fresher. Something I’d actually reach for.

So, we created Daughter.

Now, I finally have a beer I not only enjoy, but adore. And I hope you will too.
